Well, now it’s my turn to answer the questions! I’m Adam and I’m the commercial manager at ib3. Previously I’ve been in the wonderful world of FMCG working for Coca Cola, United Biscuits and Nestlé.
My role is make sure the fantastic creative that we produce really hits the spot. Planning and managing the process and ensuring our clients are getting exactly what they wanted! So, here we go.
What is your perfect weekend?
Wake up to a massive (I mean massive!) breakfast and then go fishing all morning. Sounds sad but I love it. Hopefully after that I might just be hungry again. So I’d drive out to my favourite pub (there isn’t just one, so can’t really specify) with my girlfriend for a massive (I mean massive) pub lunch. Then I’d get my friends to come and meet us and we’d stay there until closing time. If at around 7ish I’m hungry again, it’d be rude not to eat. Wake up on Sunday and take the dog out for a walk around the dales.
Where is your favourite place in the world?
I’ve not travelled a lot, but there are two clear favourite places of mine. Havana, Cuba. What a fantastic city. Vibrant, friendly and historic. I would 100% recommend anyone to get over to Cuba. My second would be Wattamolla in New South Wales. Just google it, amazing place. Get there early before everyone else!
If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I think it’d be 17. First part-time job so you have a little money in your pocket. No real stresses or strains, enjoy college. Mum does all of your washing and cooking and you don’t have a mortgage or any responsibilities!
Last book your read and film you watched and would recommend?
Book: Ardennes 1944. Great book. I really enjoy learning about history and especially World War Two. An absolutely eye-opening period of modern history.
Film: ‘Inception’. Yes, I’m a little late to the party on this one. Took me a little bit of time to get my head around it, but a really good concept. Without spoiling anything, wasn’t a fan of the ending.
I’d recommend them both!
Who is your inspiration?
It’s not one single person, but two, my parents. They gave both me and my sister the best start in life and continue to give me advice to this day (some of it I don’t listen to as I know best!). Couldn’t have done anything without them!
What is most adventurous thing you’ve done?
We went on a couple of adventures in Cuba. We visited tobacco plantations, sailed on a tiny catamaran barracuda fishing in the middle of the Caribbean with a man who didn’t speak a word of English and flew to Havana on a plane that I believe the Wright brothers made.
If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing that you would buy?
A new watch then a house. Priorities.
What is creativity to you?
The ability to translate imagination into something tangible. It cannot be taught!
Well, that’s me!
Thanks for reading.
